Prayer is a program Joe Frank produced as part of the series In The Dark. It was originally broadcast in 1994.

Synopsis

'Shut Up Pedro' (from Thomas Newman's soundtrack for 'The linguini incident') starts the episode, plays in the background for the non-David Franks portions.

1:10: 'Alice don't know me that well' protests a woman to a crazy 'holy man', prankster David Franks, who wants to come over for a séance.[1]

7:40: Random people praying.[2]

15:40: David Franks leads a woman who recently had a stroke on a nonsense prayer.[3][1]

24:10: A woman (Grace Zabriskie) talks about bliss, which comes upon her unawares, for no discernible reason, how much she likes it, how it makes her life worth living.
