Synopsis

A man talks about growing up in a mill town called Hopedale, where everyone drinks. He gets arrested drinking in the woods. Turning pain into comedy. Comparing oneself to destitute people. A homeless man who daily stares down traffic begins to de-evolve. Bleeding Jesus art. His mother spends time in a mental institution. Shoplifting for Oral Roberts. Visiting family, sleeping on the couch. Returning and coming down with insomnia. He confronts his father and is cured.
